Welcome to Mrs. Smith's Classroom
My name is Maureen Smith, and I am looking forward to teaching 6-12 special education at Hamilton. I am excited to get to know the students, staff, and community. I have been married to Terry Smith (teacher and football coach at Olpe) for 29 years, and we have four kids. Toby is a computer engineer at Cerner in Kansas City, Jake is a P.E. teacher at Garnett, Colleen is a voc. rehabilitation counselor in Topeka, and Macy is an Emporia State student-athlete. She currently plays basketball for the Lady Hornets. In my spare time, I enjoy running, biking, and spending time with my family.
